What You'll Learn
Aussie Conditions
Look, I've seen too many blokes spend two grand on a professional coating only to fry it with cheap dish soap or neglect. Especially with our March heat and the bat droppings we get around here, you need a solid plan. This checklist is for anyone who wants their water beading to stay insane and their paint to stay protected from the Aussie elements.

The Maintenance Routine
Deep Pressure Rinse
Chuck a heavy stream of water over the whole car. You want to get that abrasive red dust off before you ever think about touching the paint.
Snow Foam Soak
Cover it in foam and let it dwell for 5 minutes. This breaks down the salt and road film. Don't let it dry in the sun though!
Contact Wash
Use the two-bucket method. Wash from the roof down, rinsing your mitt in the clean water bucket after every panel. No dramas, just take your time.
Final Rinse
Flood the panels with water. You should see the coating 'sheeting' the water off. If it’s sticking, the coating is clogged with grime.
The Big Dry
Lay your drying towel flat and drag it across. Don't scrub. I once saw a mate use an old beach towel, wrecked the finish instantly. Use microfibre.
Apply Protection Boost
Spray your topper (like C2) onto a clean microfibre and wipe on, wipe off. This keeps the UV protection high and the surface super slick.
