Ditch the Wax, Use a Sealant

Honestly, I wouldn't bother with traditional Carnauba waxes this time of year. They're too 'oily' and the dust just loves to stick to them. Instead, chuck on a high-quality ceramic sealant or a 'Sio2' spray. My go-to for this is Bowden's Own Bead Machine or Gtechniq C2. They create a much slicker, anti-static surface that helps the dust just blow off while you're driving. It makes the next wash heaps easier too.

The 'Dusting' Secret (Don't Touch it Dry!)

I see people at the servo all the time using a dry microfibre or a duster to 'wipe' the dust off. Stop! That red dust is basically tiny rocks. Wiping it dry is like rubbing sandpaper on your doors. If it's dusty, either leave it or give it a proper wash. I once had a customer bring in a brand new LandCruiser that was covered in swirl marks because he 'just gave it a quick wipe' after a weekend at the beach.
